Without Consent for the New General Director of the Clinical Centre

Federal Minister of Health Nediljko Rimac did not approve the appointment of Ismet Gavrankapetanović as the general director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. This means that the competition for this position will be repeated.

We remind you that at the end of December, the Management Board of the Clinical Center submitted a request to the Ministry for the appointment of Gavrankapetanović.

However, the ministry states that, in the meantime, they have received several objections challenging the election procedure.

They also point out that, upon inspection of the submitted file, irregularities were determined on several grounds in Gavrankapetanović’s documentation, and that it was determined that he does not meet all the requirements for the position of general director.
