huskicThe most important moment, in terms of European integration, that marked the year 2015 B&H is the activation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), which brought B&H in the firm contractual relationship with the European Union (EU) and its Member States, according to political analyst Adnan Huskic.

He said that the activation of the SAA and the adaptation of the access framework, after several years of stagnation, regression and frustration of the citizens of B&H and partners from Brussels, the European Council established a new relationship with B&H.

“Long and completely unsuccessful debate on constitutional reforms, which was contrived for the most part by then-interpretation of the text of the SAA and the need to eliminate the discriminatory constitutional provisions, were replaced by measures that are going in the direction of solving social and economic problems,” noted Huskic.

In terms of expectations in 2016, he emphasized recently announced submission of a credible application B&H for EU membership in January.
