Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegović, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić, Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalić and federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić were to attend the official opening.

HPP Vranduk, with an installed power of 19,6 MW, will produce 100 GWh of electrical energy annually, thus increasing the share of electrical energy from renewable sources with the aim of decreasing the emission of CO2.
