President Xi Jinping exchanged congratulatory messages with rotating Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Željka Cvijanović to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Xi Jinping noted that in the 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and BiH, the two sides have developed bilateral relations based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and mutual benefit. Political mutual trust has deepened continuously, and practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results, setting an example for friendly coexistence and joint development between countries of different sizes, histories, cultures, and social systems. Xi Jinping said that he attaches great importance to the development of China-BiH relations and is ready to work with Ms. Chair Željka Cvijanović to take the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as a new starting point to continue the traditional friendship, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, lead China-BiH relations to a new level, and bring greater benefits to the two peoples.
Željka Cvijanović said that in the 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between BiH and China, the two countries have respected each other, enjoyed solid friendship, and achieved fruitful results in cooperation across various fields. BiH is willing to further deepen bilateral relations with China and achieve common prosperity.
