Yellow Meteoalert issued for BiH

The European Meteoalarm service for Thursday activated a yellow meteoalarm for Bosnia and Herzegovina, while warnings were issued for regions of Banja Luka, Bihac, Livno, Mostar, Sarajevo, Trebinje and Tuzla due to rainfall and thunderstorms.

In the evening and in the night from Wednesday to Thursday from the northwest there is an increase of cloudiness accompanied by rain, showers and thunderstorms. Most of the day will be moderate south and southwest.

Thursday is expected to be cloudy with rain and showers and rainfall and snow are possible in areas above 1,500 meters. Heavy rainfall is expected in the morning when thunderstorms are possible locally and in the afternoon, in Krajina, Posavina and western areas of BiH, the rainfall will stop.

The expected rainfall, in most parts of the country, will be between 20 and 50, in Herzegovina up to 70 liters in meters square locally. Wind moderate of northeast direction, with air temperatures from 7 to 14 degrees Celsius, and in Herzegovina from 13 to 20 degrees Celsius.
