One of the attacked young men is the son of journalist Arduana Pribinja, who shared this information on her Twitter profile.

“A group of 5 hooligans last night in Bar attacked two young athletes from AK Sarajevo, who arrived in Montenegro for sports training. My Harun, who was smashed in the head with a metal bar, is still doing well. His friend Alija has a multiple fracture of the apple bone,” she wrote.

Pribinja added that she was contacted by the president of Bar Municipality, Dušan Raičević, who apologized for the incident.

The hooligans who attacked the athletes of AK Sarajevo were arrested and criminal proceedings are being conducted against them.

“Informations about this event were collected from four minors, two of whom are 15 and two are 17,” Montenegrin media reports.

According to the order of the prosecutor, criminal charges will be filed for the criminal offense of violent behavior resulting in serious physical injuries, Klix.ba reports.
