Zenica: Days of Reconnaissance “Green Day” Opened

muzej_grada_zeniceYesterday was the official opening of the reconnaissance gathering entitled “Days of Reconnaissance Green Day opened at the Museum of Zenica city.

There was an exhibition of photographs and artifacts from the scouting world festival that is held every four years, which was the first activity of the Green Day gathering that is being held this year in Zenica.

Today the ninth competition in ecology will be held with teams from all over BiH.

“Next week we will organize an environmental cleanup around Boračko Lake, and our Green Day will last until the end of the summer, and a vacation to this lake is planned’’, said Zekerijah Avdić, the Chief Scout of the Association of Zenica Municipality, who also presented the plan and activities of the world scouts parade that will be held in 2015 in Japan.

Green Day will last for three days, and there will be seminars where guests from Denmark and Croatia are expected to attend, and the participation of around 1.000 exhibitors from BiH, Croatia and Denmark.

Participation in this competition has taken more than 60 teams from BiH, and guests will be the representatives of the European Scout Bureau, Scout Association of Croatia and instructors from Denmark.
