Development of BH economy and really encouraging results reflect capabilities of businessmen, said Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdic, at the opening of the 24th Zenica Economic Fair (ZEPS) and the 14th International Fair of Metal, ZEPS Intermetal.

“This fair is a reflection of the determination of this city to remain on the map of promoters of activities, whose goal is strengthening of BH economy and continuous connection of businessmen. It has a strategic importance because it promotes the economy of the entire region and thus fulfills one of the main aims of the work of the Council of Ministers of BiH, which is a regional connection and cooperation,” said Zvizdic.

He recalled that the largest export, when taking countries into consideration, was achieved in Germany, Italy, and Serbia, and the largest export-import coverage was realized with Austria and Slovenia.

“All aforementioned data, especially, the markets on which we export, are talking enough about raising the level of product quality and the level of competitiveness of BH economy, which is the basic precondition for further strengthening of our country and its integration into the world market,” said Zvizdic.

“Industrial production is recording an increase, and we are committed to increasing the competitiveness of our companies, through concrete programs and projects, on the domestic and foreign markets,” said the Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Miralem Galijasevic.

He added that new workplaces are the basic aim of all the incentives that they give and that they have the strength and potential for new progress.
