Zetra Will Host Best European Hockey Players in Front of 8.000 Spectators

olimpijaThe biggest hockey event in B&H in the last 20 years was announced yesterday at a press conference in Sarajevo. Two games will be played of the hockey EBEL league in Zetra (10 and 12 January).

The biggest Slovenian Club Olimpija will play against KAC from Klagenfurt (10 January at 19:15) and VSV from Vilach (12 January at 17:30).

President of the B&H Hockey Association Senad Zaimović, Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo Ranko Čović, Delegate from B&H IIHF Haris Muhić, Adnan Mrkva as Representative of the organizers of the event and Damir Dervišefendić, in charge of protocol with international organizations held a press conference.

Parallel to the press conference in Sarajevo, in Ljubljana the representatives of Olimpija gathered with the media, and the main cities of Ljubljana and Sarajevo will be connected through a video link.

‘’Interest for the matches is huge. We still do not know how many tickets will be put out, but I think that we can expect close to 8.000 people. Between 400 and 600 fans from Ljubljana are expected. We still do not know the price of a ticket, but they will be at a symbolic price’’, said Mrkva.

The Sarajevo weekend of hockey will be organized in cooperation with the leadership of EBEL League, and the first inspection of the prominent representatives of this event will take place in the coming week.
