edin dzeko 0601012Edin Džeko, B&H football player and striker of the Manchester City club donated the whole amount of 10 000 BAM he received last year as a prize. He donated 5 000 BAM to the Soup kitchen “Stari Grad” and 5 000 BAM to the Institute for children’s special education “Mjedenica” – according to the agency Patria.

It is already well known that Džeko doesn’t like to speak in public about his humanitarian activities but this time it is Zilha Šeta, manager of the kitchen, who told us about it. Two days ago, Zilha approached the table in a café bar where Džeko was sitting and thanked him in public for what he has done.

“You helped us to survive, and you are not even aware what good you have done. This year, thanks God, we have enough supplies.” – said Zilha to Džeko.

After that they were photographed together and the photo is published on Džeko’s official FB site.
