ZOI ’84: New Summer Activities on Sarajevo Mountains

bjelasnicaCantonal public company ZOI ’84, within the business activities in the summer period, expanded the service with new facilities on the Olympic mountains Bjelasnica and Igman. Field for mini football, petanque, volleyball, table tennis, as well as the children fun park with following facilities were opened during the summer months on Malo Polje on Igman.

Also, the catering offer was expanded on that locality, a restaurant Malo polje was opened on Igman located at attractive location under the ski jump with an amphitheater near the two-seat ski lift.

In its offer, it has domestic dishes and specialties, and is ideal place for family gatherings, celebration of children’s birthdays outdoors etc.

Fields for football, volleyball and basketball are available on Veliko polje, while there is also a large number of marked trails for mountain biking are also on this location.

On Babin Do on Bjelasnica, during the summer, all visitors, youth, recreational as well as a professional athletes are offered by a possibility of renting football and tennis courts, tennis racquets, bicycles, ride with a cable car with panoramic sightseeing etc.

New summer activities on mountains enable citizens to practice sport activities in the fresh mountain air, as well as the full relaxation and rest away from the traffic jams with the aim of improving healthy habits of life.
