Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić met yesterday in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the USA to BiH Maureen Cormack.
Zvizdić and Cormack exchanged opinions about the current political and economic situation in BiH. Chairman Zvizdić informed the Ambassador Cormack with the outcome of the meetings with high officials of State Department, the IMF and the World Bank during the visit to the United States of America. He said that the participation in the Annual Assembly of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank has been exceptionally useful and that the Council of Ministers of BiH will continue working intensely with international monetary institutions that help in implementation of structural reforms, which represents greater benefit than the financial means which BiHI will receive.
Ambassador Cormack expressed full support of the USA for the activities that strengthen the perspectives of membership of BiH in the European Union and NATO implemented by the Council of Ministers of BiH.
Chairman Zvizdić thanked for the support and said that the USA is one of the main friends and most significant foreign policy partners of BiH. Zvizdić and Cormack expressed hope that the good cooperation between the two countries will continue.
