Federica Mogherini brings very important message for BiH, and that is that the door of the European Union (EU) is open for BiH, said Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic who attended the reception at the Presidency of BiH organized on the occasion of the 1st of March, the Independence Day of BiH.
“At the moment, BiH is recording the best economic results and parameters in the region. The potential of BiH are such that BH spirit, the spirit of independence and multicultural and multi-religious approach on a building of our society won and overcame all those who wanted to overcome BiH or disintegrate it,” stated the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic.
He commented the announced visit of EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini to BiH, and said that it brings a very important message for BiH, and that the doors of EU are open for BiH, but also that the speed of accession to the EU will depend on the dynamics of meeting conditions that are set before BiH.
“All EU officials will be available to BiH and will give full institutional and other support in order for our accession phase to be mastered in a faster pace and the best way possible,” said Zvizdic.
He emphasized that it is important for BiH that the European perspective of BiH and the Western Balkans is certain because of the good cooperation within the region, as long as all the countries in the region have the path to the EU as the most important common denominator, then we can talk about regional projects and strengthening of regional cooperation.
He concluded that BiH has positive messages for Mogherini based on the analysis of performed obligations from the European agenda of BiH.
