Al Shiddi Group has reached an agreement with Accorhotels on 14th April 2017, and ensured bringing of the luxurious Swissotel in Sarajevo. Namely, it represents the world’s leading French hotel chain, and the hotel in Sarajevo will have a capacity of 218 rooms and will be part of the Sarajevo City Center.
By this investment, 200 direct and 400 indirect jobs will be provided, as well as new sources of tax revenue for the development of the Canton of Sarajevo and its infrastructure.
“This represents an exciting entry of Swissotel brand in a new market and a perfect addition to our portfolio of destinations across Europe,” said Duncan O’Rourke, COO of luxury brands in Europe for Accorhotels.

Accorhotels is the largest hotel company in Europe with 250,000 employees and more than 4,000 hotels and resorts. Interiors of Swissotel are designed by the English company “Scott Brownrigg Associates” with years of experience in developing high-end hotels in Europe.
