At the meeting, Ms. Pendes exchanged opinions on current activities in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH and on cooperation with the Armed Forces NATO in capital Sarajevo.

Moreover, interlocutors discussed the forthcoming activities on meeting the conditions for accession of BiH to the NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP).

Minister Pendes thanked Huston for supporting the NATO Staff in Sarajevo and expressed the expectation for future continuation of successful cooperation, especially in the process of entry of a prospective military asset, in which NATO Staff in Sarajevo provides significant support to the BiH Ministry of Defense.

For his part, Huston emphasized the commitment of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo for intensive cooperation in the field of defense, with an aim to reach the Action Plan for NATO membership in NATO (MAP) as quickly as possible.
