opcina centarMayor of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo Dževad Bećirević signed a protocol on the donation of 16,500 BAM to the association Council of Congress of Bosniak Intellectuals – Sarajevo.

Secretary of the municipal administration, Jasna Beba, said that donated funds are the support and contribution to the work of the Council of Bosniak Intellectuals.

“We want the association to realize all the activities that they have planned. Mayor Bećirević and Municipality Centar showed sensitivity to this association once again,” added Beba.

Secretary General of the Association, Emir Zlatar, emphasized that without these funds the work of the association would be questioned, pointing out that they do not have any support from the state.

“Municipality Centar is one of the very few local communities which are financially supporting the work of the associations,” he added.

Zlatar announced that these funds will be used for paying the rent for the premises that the association is using, which speaks enough about the significance of this donation, as announced from the Municipality Centar.
