Number of Building Permits in Bosnia and Herzegovina decreased

The number of building permits issued in April of 2020, compared to the average number of building permits issued in 2019, decreased by 25.0% and compared to the April of 2019, decreased by 24.4%, according to the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

The number of dwellings planned for construction in April of 2020, compared to the average number of dwellings planned for construction in 2019, increased by 54.4% and compared to April of 2019, increased by 89.8%.

The number of new dwellings sold in the first quarter of 2020 was 5.2 percent lower than the average number of new dwellings sold in 2019, and 8.2 percent lower than in the first quarter of 2019.

The usable area of new dwellings sold in the period January-March 2020 in relation to the average usable area in 2019 is higher by 1.2 percent, and in relation to the period January-March 2019 it is lower by 1.5 percent.

The average price of new apartments sold in the first quarter of 2020 compared to the average price of new apartments sold in 2019 is lower by 0.9 percent, and compared to the first quarter of 2019 is lower by 1.2 percent, according to the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
