New 45 Cases of COVID-19, Three Deaths recorded in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 45 new positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours, while three people died, according to the Vijesti.ba news portal.

A total of 3,076 people have been infected with the coronavirus in BiH, 2,141 have recovered, and 163 have died.

In the past 24 hours, 674 samples were tested in the Federation of BiH, of which 33 were positive for coronavirus.

New cases have been registered in Tuzla, Zenica-Doboj, Herzegovina-Neretva and Sarajevo Canton.

So far, 44,986 samples have been tested in the Federation of BiH, and the coronavirus has been confirmed in 1,373 people.

Of that number, 747 were women (54.41 percent) and 626 (45.59 percent) men.

As of today, 981 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, while 347 cases positive for coronavirus are currently active.

Of the 45 confirmed deaths in the Federation of BiH, 27 are men (60 percent) and 18 are women (40 percent). In terms of age structure, 28 deceased patients (62.22 percent) were over 65 years.

As for the Republika Srpska entity, 167 laboratory tests were performed in the last 24 hours at the Republika Srpska Institute of Public Health. So far, 1,692 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 119 people have died who have been tested for this virus.
