Having questioned the suspects, a Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in charge of the case sent a proposal to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina seeking a custody measure to be ordered in regard to the following suspects Nikola Šaraba (1982), Dragan Bokić (1976) and Saša Vukanović (1984) from Trebinje.

The measure of custody has been proposed in relation to the aforementioned suspects for reasons as stipulated in Article 132, paragraph 1, item c, of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely, due to the reasonable fear that these suspects, if at large, might repeat the criminal offense.

The suspects, who had been deprived of liberty in a police action codenamed ‘Trace’ /’Trag’/ are suspected to have committed the criminal offenses of Organized Crime, referred to in Article 250 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, referred to in Article 195 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina resumes its intensive work on the case.

The proposal for custody has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
