Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina to employ Three Hundred New Police Officers

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the Ministry of Security of BiH, passed a Decision on determining the Plan for admission of cadets to police agencies at the level of institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2020, which envisages the employment of 300 cadets in the BiH Border Police by the end of April 2022.

According to the plan, the first group of 125 cadets for the rank of police officer and 25 cadets for the rank of junior inspector should start schooling on January 1, 2021, and be employed in September 2021 (police officers), ie in May 2021. inspectors), Avaz news portal reports.

The second group of 125 cadets for the rank of police officer and 25 cadets for the rank of junior inspector should start schooling on October 1, 2021, and be employed in May 2022 (police officers), ie in February (junior inspectors).

The European Commission, within the project of assistance to BiH in migration management “IPA Special measures III”, among other things, approved the financing of basic training costs for 300 cadets of the Border Police in the amount of 2,250,000 BAM. These funds will be operational later in September this year.
