Bosnia records 43 Deaths related to Covid-19

In the past 24 hours in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1922 new cases of persons infected with coronavirus and at least 43 deaths related to Covid-19 disease were recorded. Of that number, 622 new cases of coronavirus infection and 18 deaths were recorded in Republika Srpska.

At least 1262 newly infected and 24 deaths were registered in the Federation of BiH today. Today, 38 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brcko District of BiH, and one person died. In the past 24 hours, 3,704 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 1,262 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons/counties in the Federation of BiH. A total of 217,486 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 36,243 individuals. Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, the University Hospital in Foca and the hospitals of Saint Vracevi in Bijeljina and Sv. Apostol Luka in Doboj, 1431 laboratory samples were tested, and a new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 622 people in Republika Srpska.

These are 334 males and 288 females, of which 88 are younger, 404 are middle-aged and 130 are older.
