The rifle, which is a great success of the Federation’s dedicated industry, should soon be on the market around the world, Avaz news portal has learned.

Passed the test

Final tests are underway in order to obtain the NATO code, and the news is that further production and training was taken over by “Igman” from Konjic, the largest company in the purpose-built industry, which has been generating the highest turnover and revenues for years.

The production of this rifle was started by the Novotravnik company BNT, but the pandemic slowed down further activities.

It is a 7.62 mm caliber rifle, which previously passed the first tests, and 10 prototypes were produced. Mass production is now underway.

“This bh. the product should soon be available in the overseas market. We are also expecting the first orders,” they were told from the sector of the purpose-built industry of FBiH.

In addition, when it comes to the business of this industry, the turnover plan for this year is 277 million BAM, while, as of mid-May, 150 million BAM has already been traded.

The companies Igman, Ginex and Pobjeda Rudet are still in the lead. These companies achieve all the set goals. Due to the problem with the pandemic, BNT, “Zrak” and “Binas” failed.

When it comes to the source of weapons and ammunition, the companies of the purpose-built industry mostly export to Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the United States, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.
