21.2 million BAM to be allocated for the Modernization of the Armed Forces of BiH

os-bihThe Council of Ministers of BiH, on the proposal of the Ministry of Defense of BiH, issued the Decision on approval of funding and timetable for implementation of multi year project “Ensuring and improving the operability of the motor vehicles of the Armed Forces of BiH” in the total amount of 21,211,000.00 BAM, with a period of realization 2016 – 2018.

Funding for this multi-year project will be allocated from the budget of the Ministry of Defense of BiH for 2016 in the amount of 5,700,000.00 BAM, sales of motor vehicles in 2016 in the amount of 148,000.00 BAM and budget funds in 2017 and 2018 in the amount of 15,363,000.00 BAM.

These funds will be used for the purchase of specialized vehicles of the Armed Forces of BiH in the period from 2016 to 2018 with the aim of modernization and achieving the required level of mobility and operational capacity, in order to carry out the statutory mission of the Armed Forces of BiH.
