The government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) approved the further indebtedness of FBiH, which will also have to be approved by the Parliament of FBiH, according to the Agreement on the Loan between the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Bosnia and Herzegovina for the water supply project in Sarajevo in the amount of 25 million Euros.

In that way, the basis for signing the subsidiary agreement between BiH and the Federation of BiH and the Sub-agreement between the FBiH and Canton Sarajevo was established.

Canton Sarajevo will transfer the funds to “Water Supply and Sewage” d.o.o. the final recipient and user of the funds.

The funds are intended for the reconstruction of the priority components of the water supply system in order to decrease the amount of water lost and to better the total efficiency of the water supply system, according to the Public Relations Office of the Government of FBiH.
