airplaneAirplane with BH tourists who were returning from Antalya in Turkey landed this morning at the Sarajevo Airport. This is the first charter flight after the attempted coup that took place two nights ago in Turkey.

Muamer Lutvic from Centrotours said that at the time of the attempted coup there was 250 BH citizens in the region of Antalya, but that no one experienced any problems.

“We were in touch with our tourists and guides. Antalya Airport was working normally. This morning we had the arrival and departure of airplanes to Antalya from Sarajevo and all of our flights are on schedule. We had only two cancellations this morning,” said Lutvic.

He emphasized that there is no state of emergency declared in Turkey and that their flights and arrangements are not canceled.

“Nothing happened in Kemer. Everything was normal and there were no security problems at all. We had great time,” said Amel, who returned from his vacation.

Flights are slowly normalizing on Istanbul airports as well. Scheduled flights of Turkish Airlines and Pegasus from Sarajevo Airport are taking place according to the established timetable.
