Entity President Milorad Dodik to meet with the PM of Hungary

Entity President Milorad Dodik said yesterday that he would meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Obran today, who is a man of peace, and stressed that Republika Srpska and Hungary have excellent cooperation.

This is a regular meeting, Dodik said.

“We have several of them a year, and at the beginning of this year we agreed to sit down and analyze everything we have done so far. We have taken our cooperation with Hungary very seriously.”

The entity president stressed that he greatly appreciates Orban, who is one of the leading leaders of the new understanding of the world. He also recalled that US President Donald Trump has spoken on several occasions that America will no longer build other states and nations and that it will no longer interfere in the internal affairs of other states.

“This is proof that Orban was right all along. Some in Brussels want to manage the lives of certain states through the concentration of resources, some of which accept it, but Orban correctly assessed that Europe cannot survive in this way in the long term,” Dodik said.

He pointed out that Trump is not cooperating with the European institutions in Brussels, but with individual countries.

“It should be understood that Trump and America now want to talk to states, and their tariff policy will lead to the fact that countries that want to cooperate with America must sign bilateral agreements on privileges, as Hungary will do, and will be exempt from what Trump is imposing on Europe,” Dodik said.

He stressed that he would talk to Orbán about this.

“If America signs agreements on privileges with Italy, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, then there is no basis for the functioning of the EU, which is the common market,” Dodik said.
