On the fair will participate 150 publishers from BiH, Montenegro, Croatia, and Serbia, as well as cultural centers of embassies in BiH, and there will be a large number of promotions held as well.

Director of the Center Skenderija Amer Kapo said that Sarajevo is a festival of culture and books at this time and that they will try to be good hosts so that exhibitors return to the fair every year.

In cooperation with the Foundation “Mak Dizdar”, within the fair will be marked 100 years since the birth of our famous writer Mak Dizdar, and the central place of the Fair “Bosnian House” was renamed to “(Makova hiza (Mak’s house)”.

Gorcin Dizdar, director of the Foundation and grandson of Mak Dizdar, explained that from Dizdar’s song “House in Mile (Hiza u Milama)” shows that it is not just a house but a symbol of openness to the world, art, culture and everything beautiful, and that they tried to present that atmosphere in “Makova hiza (Mak’s house)”.

Muris Sehic, Deputy Director of “Sahinpasic”, which is a partner of the fair, wished a successful fair to all participants in the next six days.

The fair is open until the 24th of April, from 10 am to 7 pm, and the admission is free of charge.
