More than 200 members of the Association of Family Members of Missing Persons from the Kalinovik Municipality “Istina-Kalinovik ’92” today marked the 32nd anniversary of the suffering of the Bosniak civilian population in that municipality.

The president of the association, Samir Vranović, told Fena news agency that their goal is to draw the public’s attention to the necessary help in searching for the missing, as well as the BiH Prosecutor’s Office to launch an investigation against those responsible for not removing the mural and monument to Ratko Mladić in Kalinovik.

He added that they are encountering major obstructions in that process from the authorities of the Municipality of Kalinovik and that he will continue to warn all relevant institutions that they will not tolerate it.

Vranović reminded that the search is still on for the remains of 42 murdered people, including his father, because they were moved from the primary to the secondary grave, the location of which is still unknown.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced Ratko Bundal to 22 years, Nedja Zeljaja to 15 years, Đorđislav Aškraba to seven years, Novica Tripković to seven years, Slavko Lalović to five years and Dalibor Krstović to nine years in prison.

So far, a total of 93 years of imprisonment have been sentenced for crimes in Kalinovik.

Also, the Hague Tribunal (ICTY) sentenced Dragoslav Kunarac Žaga to 28 years in prison for the crimes in Kalinovik and Foča.
