How 34 million BAM will be distributed in Municipalities?

Jajce Roads kurir.rsIn the second half of March, in the Federation of BiH, paving of local roads under the Rural Entrepreneurship Development Project is about to start.

The money for these projects is secured by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) BiH. In the same official project, other micro rural infrastructures that have been approved for 27 municipalities in the Federation will be covered as well.

The Director of the Project Coordination Unit – PCU in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry Halil Omanović said that currently they engage in the several meetings regarding the projects in 10 municipalities.

As a part of the project, the following will be built: agribusiness center in Ravno, cold storage for fruits and vegetables in Ustikolina, Kalesija, Orasje and Jajce, bridge in Kladanj, rural roads in Praca, plumbing in Odzak and Bosanski Petrovac, and systems for agricultural irrigation in Teočak ,Gorazde and Ustikolina.

Moreover, in Otoka near Bosanska Krupa, residents will get the local market, and a road which will connect the local community Priki Put and Konjodor in neighboring municipalities Bosanska Krupa and Buzim.

In Kalesija, everything is ready for the construction of Vukovije-Krušik road, as well as cold storage for fruits and vegetables. For infrastructure of micro-projects in this municipality is intended 550 000 BAM.

Along with the realization that the sixth IFAD project Omanović announced that the seventh one will start as well this years, amounting to 56 million BAM.

Rural Entrepreneurship Development Project is worth around 34 million BAM, which allows further development and improvement of rural businesses by increasing and improving the production capacity at farm level, as well as refrigeration and storage capacities of market infrastructure in all 27 project municipalities in the Federation.
