As part of the agreement reached between Hamas and Israel, 39 Palestinian children detained in Israeli prisons were released.

Freed children living in the occupied West Bank left Israel’s Ofer military prison on a bus belonging to the International Red Cross and headed for Ramallah.

Children living in East Al-Quds/Jerusalem left the prison accompanied by Israeli police to be handed over to their families.

The release of a third group of 39 Palestinian prisoners came after Hamas released 13 Israeli hostages, along with three Thais and a Russian-Israeli national.

As part of the agreement reached between Hamas and Israel, 39 Israeli prisoners have so far been released from the Gaza Strip, and 117 Palestinians have been released from Israeli prisons, AA reports.
