3-antifa-fest-2Mostar – the 5th edition of the Antifa Fest began today in the Youth Cultural Centre (OKC) Abrašević in Mostar.

It is the biggest annual gathering of the young B&H antifascists.

The two day lasting festival consists of round tables, lectures and concerts and it gathered a great number of participants and guests from our country and from the neighbourhood.

Robert Jandrić from the organizational board pointed out that this year’s edition is special because, along with the Antifa Fest, the 8th Balkans Anarchy Book Fair is being held as well.

Within the festival, today some lectures and public discussions will be held, and tonight an exhibition of drawings by Emir Hodžić will be held. After that, there is a concert with the following performers: Renovatio (Hip hop / Albania), Crustalno jasno (Crust/Mostar/BiH), POPIK (Punk Rock/Sarajevo/BiH), Punkart (Punk/Tuzla/BiH), Zadnji popis (Punk/Srebrenica/BiH).

On Saturday, September 6th, there will be a one day exhibition of photos entitled “The Bruxelles March for Freedom”, lectures and a concert by: Triptamin (Mostar), Hellback (Crust/HC/Punk/Požega/CRO), Više od milimetra (Post Punk/Temerin/Serbia) i No Rules (Garage R’n’R/Tuzla/BiH).
