October 2nd is one of the most important dates in the history of Tuzla, because on that day in 1943, Tuzla was liberated for the first during during World War II, and that day is celebrated as the day of liberation.
The famous film producer Branko Lustig, historian Latinka Perović, the world famous graphic designer Mirko Ilić, the former Croatian President Stjepan Mesić and a member of the National–Liberation War Ekrem Durić will be the guests marking the 70 years of Tuzla’s liberation.
