84.000 BAM collected at the Diplomatic Bazaar, Money will go to Children

150226067.5_mnIn December 2014, 84.000 BAM was collected at the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar. The money will be donated to charity to help children and young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The funds collected in the amount of 84.000 BAM are arranged in three places and will be donated to the Franciscan International Student Centre under the auspices of the organization “Bread of St. Anthony”, SOS Children home for children with disabilities in Maglaj and humanitarian organization Vara Barn (Our Children).

Franciscan student center under the auspices of the international organization “Bread St. Anthony” was awarded 20,000 BA; with the aim of scholarships to 20 students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a focus on those affected by severe floods in May 2014.

Charitable organization Vara Barn (Our Children), whose activities are aimed at helping children without parental care in BiH has been allocated 29.000 BAM, and this money will be handed over to the girl Jasmina Begic who has the desire to study medicine.

SOS Children home for disabled children in Maglaj was given to 34 000 BAM for the purchase of specialized vehicles for the transport of children, and the activities of interactive workshops that will be held for a period of six months, and that will help them to socialize.
