93,620 Accounts of Business Entities blocked in BiH

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) has published an updated list of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH. In the new report on blocked accounts in the Unified Register of CBBH accounts, it was stated that by June 2019, 93,620 accounts of business entities were blocked, which is 558 companies less than in the previous month. The CBBH report also states that 51,036 companies have blocked at least one account.

In a new report, featuring 3,744 pages, business entities from all spheres of social life, from business enterprises, stores, hairdressing salons, gas pumps, pharmacies, offices, cafes and restaurants to various agencies, cooperatives, and companies have been listed. In this list there are also coal mines, local communities, municipalities, sports associations.

In the first report of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, published at the beginning of November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH amounted to 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
