A meeting between the Mayor of Mostar, Ljubo Beslic, the Prime Minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Nevenko Heceg, director of international Airport Mostar, Marin Raspudić, Director of BHANSA, Davorin Primorac, and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications. The meeting was also attended by the representatives of low cost airline Eurowings and manager for network development for South Eastern Europe, Ivan Oreč.
According to the City Administration of Mostar, the main subject of yesterday’s meeting was the possibility of establishing a permanent air link between Mostar and Stuttgart, twice a week.
Representatives of the City of Mostar and HNC, Mayor Beslic, and the Prime Minister Herceg promised the full support for the air connections of Mostar and Stuttgart and the rest of Europe.
A presentation on the characteristics and features of the services offered by Mostar Airport was shown by the representatives of BHANAS-e, the Mostar Airport and the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The event included a presentation of the Eurowings as well. The manager of network development Mr. Oreč highlighted the interest of their airline for business cooperation and stressed that he would immediately inform his superiors with the talks he had in Mostar, and then he will submit a business proposal of Eurowings to all participants of the meeting.
He thanked Mayor Beslic and the President of the Government of HNC for the presented possibilities of Mostar Airport. Also, during a visit to the airport, Oreč held a meeting with the director and owner of the travel agency Fortunatorus, Milije Bijavica.
