garage4Stari Grad Municipality is the first municipality in the Sarajevo Canton, which will use the advantage of the Law on Public-Private Partnership for Infrastructure Development.

As stated at the session of the Municipality Council, the underground parking opposite the City Hall, in Avdage Šahinagića Street, will be built. The investment is worth 6 million BAM.

Irfan Cengic, councilor of SDP BiH, said that in accordance with the previously stated decision, on the construction of the garage through a public-private partnership, the garage will be of service to citizens, but will remain the property of the municipality.

“In addition, the municipality will also generate additional revenues, which will be later invested in the further development of infrastructure. This is a win-win game, both for investors and municipality, but is the greatest benefit to citizens who need this parking space” – said Cengic.
