Currently, technical works on the objects and installation of equipment and video cameras are being conducted, according to Herzegovina press.
The official opening of the crossing, which will have four – two entrances and two exits – tracks, should be on August 15th, according to still unconfirmed information.
Nonetheless, despite the fact that this border crossing will be modern and in accordance with all European standards, BC Gornji Brgat will continue being a bottleneck until a similar crossing isn’t made with double the existing capacity close to the existing one.
The beginning of works on the new crossing at Brgata was announced for the end of this year and should be done in the spring of 2018.
