Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has expressed concern that Israel will attempt to “push Palestinians out of the West Bank after it’s done with Gaza.”
Furthermore, Abbas also stated that an Israeli invasion of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza would be “the greatest disaster in the history of the Palestinian people” and that only the United States (U.S.) is capable of stopping it.
The Palestinian leader spoke at the World Economic Forum in Riyadh, attended by representatives of Hamas and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, but no one from the Israeli side.
