The tunnel ”Vijenac” is currently the most demanding construction project at the corridor 5C,says Ramić and it is also the largest tunnel that a BiH company has excavated.
In the second tube, additional 300 metres needs to be excavated and it will be finished in 20 days.

The excavation is being done by Austrian method, and various engineers are present at the digging sites.

The tunnel will be equipped with the most modern equipment, and the road Sarajevo-Zenica will be shortened by 6 kilometres. The value of the 1st phase of the works is 18 million EUR.
”Group of BiH companies will successfully finish the job before the deadline and show that they are capable doing the most demanding construction projects and justify the trust of investors. It is particularly important that with these jobs, BiH companies get a recommendation for future jobs”, said Ramić.
