Chairman of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Presidency Zeljko Komsic will attend a working dinner on Sunday in Brussels. Komsic will attend a meeting of European Union and Western Balkans leaders convened by European Council President Charles Michel in Brussels.
The meeting will be attended by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Josep Borell.
In addition to Komsic, the meeting will also include Croatia’s Prime Minister and current EU Council Chairman Andrej Plenkovic, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic, Northern Macedonia President Stevo Pendarovski, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Albania’s Edi Rama.
With this working dinner, the new EU leadership intends to give full support and commitment to the European path of the Western Balkan countries. This will also be the first meeting of EU and Western Balkans leaders since the 2019 European elections and the takeover of the new administration in Brussels.
