A 22-year-old man was killed while breaking through the police blockade on the highway Tomislavgrad – Livno on Saturday morning.

According to information from the MoI of Herceg-Bosnia County, on Saturday around 3:13 a.m., the Tomislavgrad Police Department received a report from the Kamensko border crossing that a VW Golf motor vehicle had broken through the ramp at the entrance to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Immediately after receiving the report, the police officers of PP Tomislavgrad were sent and they took all measures and actions within their jurisdiction with the aim of finding and stopping the mentioned motor vehicle.

After spotting a motor vehicle on the Tomislavgrad-Livno highway in the “Privala” locality, the police officers of the PP Tomislavgrad, using light and sound signals, set up a blockade of the highway with official motor vehicles.

The driver of the motor vehicle VW Golf E.D. (2002), he ignored the warning light and sound signals given to him by the police and crashed into the police roadblock, killing himself.

An investigation was conducted at the scene of the incident, which was led by the duty prosecutor of the County Prosecutor’s Office in Livno.

The body of the deceased, by order of the duty prosecutor, was transported to the morgue and an autopsy will be performed.
