A 23-year-old worker from Bosnia and Herzegovina died on Saturday around 11:45 a.m. while repairing a malfunction of a work machine at the construction site of a water reservoir near Đurđevac.
As reported by the Police Department of Koprivnica-Križevačka, during the repair of a malfunction on the working machine, the hood of the excavator hit a 23-year-old man, who died at the scene.
The body was transported to the Department of Pathology of the Koprivnica General Hospital for an autopsy, and police officers are conducting a criminal investigation, the statement said.
