The black swan, a particularly rare species for the European continent, was recorded in the Zeljeznica river in Ilidza.

An individual noticed this rare bird yesterday near one of the bridges on the Zeljeznica river.

Their appearance in Europe is particularly noteworthy, considering that the black swan is a large water bird that is mainly distributed in the area of south-eastern and south-western Australia.

However, as information recently reached the news that a black swan was recorded in Istocno Sarajevo – it is probably the same one.

After passers-by enthusiastically shared photos and videos of this bird, a house was even set up for him on the lake in IstocnoSarajevo.

It has a bright red beak, with a dark edge and tip. Their legs and feet are grey-black. Males are slightly larger than females. The young are grey-brown with feathers with darker edges, Klix.ba writes.
