Rešid Muratović received a bottle of Sarajevsko beer with an engraved coat of arms of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a gift, which was found in a sunken ship at the bottom of the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. The catch, however, is that the bottle is 100 years old.
“A long time ago, probably around 1910, Sarajevsko beer was being exported from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The bottle was found at the site of the Bay of Kotor in a sunken ship, and I received that bottle as a gift so that I can confirm that we did indeed have a developed beer market 100 years ago. A coat of arms of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Austro-Hungarian monarchy is found engraved on it, which is proof of our existence in terms of the market”, said Muratović.
He explained that the bottle is an interesting object – and story – for the wider business community due to the difficult nature of finding a similar product that places its origins over a century ago.
