A Heartbreaking Letter from a 91 Years old Lady from Sarajevo arrived at Humanitarian Organization

The Pomozi.ba association organized a large campaign to collect money and other aid for the citizens of Turkey and Syria after the devastating earthquake that hit these two countries on February 6th.

According to the data so far, more than 45 thousand people died, and many were left without their homes, left to their fate.

The citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) have shown how big of a heart they have. Volunteers of the Pomozi.ba Association had their hands full packing tons of aid that arrived at their address.

However, one message that reached them left everyone speechless. Namely, 91-year-old old lady Milka from Sarajevo sent them a letter containing 10 BAM with the message:

“I want to make a donation for the victims in Turkey and Syria. Hereby I am sending you warm greetings from Grandma Grabenar Milka”.

Pomozi.ba simply could not remain immune to this gesture of Mrs. Milka.

”We were especially touched by the gesture of our beneficiary, 91-year-old lady Milka, who sent us 10 BAM to help the people of Turkey and Syria along with a sweetly written letter!

Given that we bring a ready-made meal to her doorstep every day, we don’t even have to say what a difficult health and financial condition she is in, but that didn’t stop her from giving 10 BAM from her minimal income, from which she can’t even afford everything she needs, for people who experienced a great tragedy.

That’s us! People with a huge heart,” said Pomozi.ba.
