On the shores of Buško Lake, on the border between the municipalities of Livno and Tomislavgrad, a large amount of medical waste has been dumped in recent days, which has upset the local population.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Canton 10, Ivica Vrdoljak, told FENA that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been informed about this and that investigation is underway.

“Police officers went to the field and are investigating this crime. After those actions, we will have some answers in which direction the investigation of the perpetrators of this act should proceed,” added Vrdoljak.

The director of the Inspection Authority, Dubravko Kovačević, also confirmed that an inspection is underway, after which the public should receive more information.
