A man threatened to blow himself up with explosives and is currently hiding in the building of the Iranian consulate in Paris, the French radio channel Europe 1 reported today.
The same source reports that the police blocked off the consulate complex while a man wearing an explosive belt threatened to detonate it.
Due to security reasons, the nearby Paris metro line is also blocked.
The motive and other details of the incident are the subject of an ongoing investigation.
