Today, Croatia will mark the 30th anniversary of the military police operation “Storm” with a military parade in Zagreb, reports Hina.

At 5:00 p.m., the President of Croatia and Supreme Military Commander Zoran Milanović will receive a report from the Chief of General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Tihomir Kundid, and with the command “Let the march begin!” will approve the start of the military parade.

The military parade will move along Vukovara Street, from Marin Držić Avenue to Savska Street.

The route is 2.4 kilometers long, and the length of the procession will be about 1,800 meters. More than 3,400 members of various units will participate in the parade.

In addition to the Armed Forces, the parade will be attended by members of the Ministry of the Interior, the Civil Protection Administration, the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service, the Judicial Police, the Croatian Fire Brigade and Croatian veterans.

For the first time, members of the armed forces from eight countries will participate in the parade, and as stated, they will carry the flags of their countries in this formation.

The parade’s flight program will include 41 aircraft of the Croatian Air Force (HRZ) and six helicopters of the Ministry of the Interior.

The HRZ aerobatic group “Wings of the Storm” with six Pilatus PC-9M aircraft will also participate, and recently acquired Rafal fighter jets will fly over.

The Croatian Navy (HRM) parade entitled “Greetings from the Adriatic” will be held in the Adriatic Sea, with four missile ships, two landing ships, four patrol ships and four large rubber boats.

The ceremonial military parade will also be accompanied by a cultural and artistic program, according to Hina.
