In Čapljina at the cemetery of St. Leopold Mandić, a monument to former HVO commander Slobodan Praljak was unveiled.

The monument is also blessed. After the Holy Mass on All Souls’ Day, Fr. Bonifacije Barbarić led the blessing.

Slobodan Praljak is one of the biggest war criminals of the 20th century, according to the judgment of the Tribunal in The Hague.

Let us remind you that he and five other top political and military officials of Herceg-Bosnia were sentenced to 20 years in prison for the most serious acts of war crimes such as criminal association with the aim of aggression, crimes against humanity, urbicide and the extermination of the non-Croat population on the soil of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
