planeThe trip from Banja Luka to Sarajevo could only take 15 minutes. In fact, plane flight from the capital of Republika Srpska to Sarajevo is taking that long. Kuwaiti businessman Abdullah Al-Tamar is coming to Mahovljani next week in order to try to arrange flights on the route from Banja Luka – Sarajevo -Kuwait City, as reported by Alternativna Televizija.

“I believe it would be ideal and by good price, but also – we must arrange a good price for the fuel,” said Abdullah Al-Tamar from the company “Gryphon Air” from Kuwait.

Miroslav Janjic has no information about the arrival of Kuwaitis in Banja Luka, so he does not want to give early estimations. However, he stated that he is open for any type of negotiations.

“Any interest from any flight operators is special for us, and of course we will do everything to get closer to their interests respecting our short-term and long-term interests,” said Miroslav Janjic, Director General of Airport Banjaluka.

Kuwaiti who, among other things, supplies the US Army with logistics, said that he has a lot to offer to the citizens of Banja Luka, as well as Kuwaitis who want to visit the city on the Vrbas. Capacity of the aircraft will not be below 160 seats. There will be even a business class, for the whole family. The idea of the new airline was supported by the Ambassador of B&H in Kuwait.

“Within the framework of the bilateral visit of Minister Igor Crnadak, which took place in November on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we agreed that in the future, Mr. Abdullah will visit Banja Luka and talk about the possibilities,” said Mehmed Halilovic, Ambassador of B&H in Kuwait.

As the things are standing right now, most of interested passengers would, in case that an agreement is reached, be on the route Banja Luka – Sarajevo. Kuwaitis counting on tourists that are visiting B&H.
